Embarkation
For passenger convenience, safety and best service, the Port of Galveston encourages cruise visitors to proceed directly to the cruise terminal complex to drop-off luggage and passengers. Porters are available to assist with luggage tags and directions to the parking lots, beginning the embarkation process.

If you parked in private lots, you can take the shuttle which drops off to the cruise terminal. Please take tag all check-in bags when you sending with the porter. Take you carry on baggage and proceed to check-in. You will have your passport checked first by the immigration on boarding. You then need to clear security and check-in using your documents including Fun pass you either recieved by mail or filled online(Fun pass is your ticket) with all details and passport, credit card to get your cabin keys to board the ship.

DisEmbarkation
Ships offer Self assist Disembarkation which I strongly recommend if you only have few bags and no kids. It is fast and easy. You are out of the immigration process quick and easy. If you have too many bags, then you have to take Porter assist. They will pick your bags the night before and drop it off in the immigration area. You then need to pick it up and stay in line to clear immigration. Trick: Pick a porter and you can get out faster as they have seperate line for porters otherwise it might take an hour to two.

Upon getting, you have the option to return directly to the port-operated parking lots to retrieve your vehicle without your luggage, or you can depart the terminal area to the parking lots on a different port-operated shuttle with your luggage.

If you parked in private parking slots, they have shuttle to pick you up and drop off at the parking lot.
